What causes them?
The chance of getting piles is increased when pressure
is put on the abdomen, which in turn increases pressure on veins
inside the anus.
This sort of pressure can be triggered by strenuous
physical exercise such as weightlifting or even by leisure activities
such as gardening. Constipation is also another major cause of piles
so a healthy diet is one way to try and reduce your chances of suffering.
